Tracker FAQ
Quick answers for searchers and contributors.
Where can I give feedback?
Email admin@steamhardware.io for suggestions and bug reports.
How does the tracker work?
The tracker groups anonymous reports to show the full path from reservation to invite, then to purchase, shipping, and delivery.
Share any official Valve window or milestone date you can confirm. Even partial reports help and are still counted.
The tracker compares many reports to estimate how queue movement changes before and after invites.
Reports are fully anonymous. You do not need to provide personal details or Steam account info.
Full methodologyWhat does the Steam hardware tracker show?
The community tracker shows anonymous reports for Steam Controller official reservation windows, reservations, and invites, plus Steam hardware purchase, shipping, and delivery milestones. It is independent and not affiliated with Valve.
Is submitting a tracker report anonymous?
Yes. Reports store milestone dates, optional times, broad country or region, and an edit-token hash. Anonymous reports only; do not enter Steam account details, passwords, usernames, emails, order numbers, tracking numbers, addresses, ZIP codes, screenshots, or personal information.
Can I update a report later?
Yes. After submitting, the site gives a private update link once. That link can refresh the official Valve reservation window or add later invite, purchase, shipping, or delivery milestones without exposing the edit token publicly.
