• No sponsored content agreements
• No advertising partnerships
• No financial ties to Valve Corporation
• No financial ties to hardware manufacturers
• No equity or investment relationships with companies we cover

Revenue model

SteamHardware.io is an independent editorial project. It does not currently make money through advertising, affiliate links, or sponsored content.

Basic, aggregate site analytics do not affect what we cover or how we label sources, confidence, reviews, or tracker estimates.

Artwork sourcing

SteamHardware.io does not use AI-generated imagery for article covers, heroes, thumbnails, or social artwork. We use original artwork made without generative AI, licensed or officially released assets, source photos, and screenshots used as editorial context.

Artwork must not invent test results, interfaces, product details, packaging, availability, or official imagery. Our Methodology and Editorial policy explain how claims and reviews are supported.

Personal ownership

Staff may own Steam hardware bought at retail. Retail ownership is not treated as a financial conflict.

If the site's business model or financial relationships change, we will update this page and any affected policy or article.
