What to include
- Page URL.
- Specific claim or section to review.
- Best available source.
- Whether the source is official, reported, community-sourced, or analysis.
Source priority
- Official Valve, Steam, and Steamworks sources receive first priority.
- Use those sources for release date, price, specs, availability, and compatibility corrections.
- Reputable reporting can help frame a correction, but official product language carries more weight for launch facts.
Corrections policy
- Material factual errors are corrected when a claim is wrong, outdated, or unsupported.
- Confidence-label issues are corrected when the label changes how a reader should understand the claim.
- Minor copy edits that do not change meaning may be fixed without a log entry.
Tracker issues
- Do not send Steam credentials, account names, Steam IDs, order or reservation identifiers, payment data, carrier tracking numbers, addresses, ZIP codes, screenshots, documents, or account details.
- If a tracker report needs an update, use the private update link created when the report was submitted.
- We cannot recover private tracker update links because the tracker does not collect emails, usernames, account identities, or raw edit tokens for recovery.
Corrections log
- No material factual corrections have been logged yet.
